Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties are expected to see potentially damaging storms — possible tornadoes — and now large hail Wednesday night into Thursday morning, sandwiched between frigid cold days for a wild weather week in the Panhandle.
The National Weather Service Mobile, Alabama Wednesday night issued an updated advisory that included the possibility of quarter-size hail in the forecast. It also stated that damaging wind and tornado potential will mainly be focused along and south of the I-10 corridor, which includes neighboring Okaloosa County. Continue reading here.
