Insurance Litigation Group (ILG), a statewide property and business insurance claims dispute boutique law firm, worked with Sunrise Public Adjusters and others in the community to donate 58 P100 Pro respirator masks with filters and 1,500 N95 disposable masks to the COVID-19 Medical ICU floor nursing staff at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. The P100 respirator masks have a 99.97% filtration efficiency, offering a very high level of protection for medical professionals.
“It has been a challenge for many local hospitals and healthcare professionals to secure a consistent supply of personal protection equipment (PPE),” said ILG founder Michael Biberman. “We felt it our responsibility as a member of the community to help out by donating the pro-level masks.”
The P100 respirators were delivered to the night shift on May 6 at 9:15 PM. ILG Supervising Attorney, Nicole Shacket, also participated in the delivery of the masks.
“We really appreciated the masks,” said Rifka Cohen, RN, mother of three, who has been a critical care nurse for five years, three of them at Memorial. Mrs. Cohen is the wife of Yossi Lazerson, owner of Sunrise Public Adjusters.
Insurance Litigation Group plans to continue raising awareness to help keep frontline medical professionals safe during this most challenging crisis.
