Insurance Litigation Group worked with Sunrise Public Adjusters and others in the community to donate 58 N100 respirator masks with filters and 1,000 N95 masks to the COVID-19 Medical ICU floor nursing staff at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. The N100 respirator masks block at least 99.97% filtration efficiency, offering a very high level of protection for medical professionals.
“It has been a challenge for many local hospitals and healthcare professionals to secure a consistent supply of personal protection equipment (PPE),” said ILG founder Michael Biberman. “Once our friend Yossi Lazerson of Sunrise Public Adjusters asked us to help out his wife Rifka Cohen, RN and her fellow critical care nurses at the hospital, we couldn’t say no.”
The N100 respirators were delivered to the night shift on May 6 at 9:15 PM.
“We really appreciated the donated safety equipment,” said Cohen, mother of three, who has been a critical care nurse for five years, three of them at Memorial.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, hospitals and healthcare professionals have had difficulty securing a consistent supply of all types of PPE equipment.
Both ILG and Sunrise Public Adjusters plan to continuing raising money and awareness to help keep frontline medical professionals safe during this most challenging crisis.
