News Channel 7 shoots video of Calloway Village Square showing that several family owned Florida Panhandle businesses were totally destroyed and there is little evidence that they will ever come back. Residents are looking for signs that the new normal may be changing for the better with a combination of new and former businesses coming back to serve the community and recreate the jobs that once existed in this small town.
Like damaged and destroyed businesses, homeowners who experienced significant Hurricane Michael damageand even those who experienced additional water and freeze damage to their homes, need to make sure they are prepared to deal with insurance companies that may have been overwhelmed by the tens of thousands of Hurricane Michael claims and did not have the personnel or time to properly adjust their claims.
That’s why Insurance Litigation Group and its team of attorneys and claims consultants are on the ground in the Panhandle assisting them with re-inspections, policy reviews and in some instances, filing lawsuits against insurance companies unwilling to fairly adjust their claims with ample monies to make the necessary repairs or for some, completely rebuild.
