A cold front moving in from the Gulf of Mexico, followed by another reinforcing cold front behind it, will make for weekend morning lows in the mid to upper 40s in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach area, according to the South Florida office of the National Weather Service.
Wednesday is when the cold is expected to blow in fast. It’s not even just the cold. Wednesday has a 50% chance of rain. Wednesday night has a 60% chance of rain. Thursday’s daytime high will be significantly cooler, with the warmest temperature expected to be 67. Lows in the 30s are anticipated in areas near Lake Okeechobee and Hendry and Glades counties.
